Saturday night saw two Hotton Stable trainees go to post in the Summit County Fair Sweepstakes held at Northfield Park. Sunday featured the Stable's 2-year-old trotting fillies in racing action at the Knox County Fair.

The 2-year-old filly trotter, TT's Honey Bun finished third in her $11,500 Summit Co. Fair division, while the 3-year-old colt trotter, Buckeye Man, finished second in his $8,000 sweepstakes division.

On Sunday afternoon, the Stable was on the road to the Knox County Fair in Mount Vernon, Ohio where a trio of 2-year-old trotting fillies were entered: Just For One Day, ItsBetterThanJail, and Rose Run Misty.

Split among the three divisions of 2-year-old filly trotters, Just For Day trotted steadily to finish third in the First race. ItsBetterThanJail picked up a check in the Fifth race, while Rose Run Misty overcame an early break in the Ninth race by making up a long stretch of ground to rally and finish second.
